Power test bench

Each engine which leaves our site had a run on the power test bench from idle speed to full load. On three test benches we check up to a power of 900kW / 1224HP. Each engine starts with a smooth idle running and a short inspection before the load increments slowly to maximum.

Under full load the engine has to run minimum 30 minutes to ensure that all parameters from oil pressure to exhaust temperature are ok.
It doesn´t matter if the engine is mechanical controlled, EDC, VP pump or with modern common rail injection equipment. We are able to run each generation of engines.
